The Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association names Henry Clay center fielder Collin Cowgill as Kentucky's 2004 Mr. Baseball. Cowgill delivered an outstanding offensive season, batting .495 with 47 RBIs, 44 runs scored, and a school-record 18 home runs. He has signed to play college baseball at the University of Kentucky. Christian County's Kevin Crider, who led his team to the state championship, is named Coach of the Year.
